The team here at Nomos One always wants to make sure you’re getting the most out of the system. Whether you missed an update, couldn’t make a training webinar or haven’t used Nomos One in a while, a refresher every now and then can be a welcome sight. The following is a short list of tips and tricks to ensure you’re making the most of Nomos One…

Upcoming Events Report

Nomos One can generate an Upcoming Events Report that’ll provide a list of lease events. It includes the event type, the date it’s scheduled, the Agreement it relates to and you can also customise the report further, so it shows only the information you’re interested in.

You’ll find this under the Reports tab, aptly titled Upcoming Events Reports.

There are two reports of this type to choose from. Upcoming Events Report (Organisation) generates a report for the organisation you’re currently looking at, whereas Upcoming Events Report (Following) generates a report for all of the organisations that you follow. The latter is especially useful for users who have split their portfolio across multiple organisations by location, asset type or other qualifier.

For more information on how to generate this type of report, please get in touch with us.

Custom Fields

Have a bit of information that you’d like to record in your portfolio, but don’t know where it should go? With Custom Fields, you can include additional information against agreements, properties/assets and entities within Nomos One. We’ve on-boarded clients that have asked this be used in a range of applications including; property door codes, unique agreement clauses, serial numbers of high-value assets, unique site codes and property earthquake rating.

Ask your organisation’s admin user to set up Custom Fields within the Settings tab or get in touch with us.

Custom Email Notifications

With Nomos One, you can choose how when your team receives email notifications based on the event type. You can select a default value of 30, 60, 90, 120 or 240 days, or enter your own custom value that’s better suited. Organisation admin users can change these values in the Settings tab, under Language and Defaults. If you don’t have admin access, speak to the organisation’s admin user to discuss changing this setting.

Advanced Custom Reports

If the readily available report templates don’t have what you’re after, you can always create a fully customised report. Nomos One’s Advanced Custom Reports can include any number of fields relating to Agreements, Properties/Assets, Entities and/or Events data. You’re also able to include any custom fields you’ve created, making it the complete reporting tool.

You’ll find the Advanced Custom Reports in the Reports tab within an organisation. After selecting the context of the report, you’ll have the option to select as many fields as necessary, with custom fields being highlighted at the bottom. Once generated it behaves like any other report, with the ability to filter results, group by categories, apply calculations and export in a range of formats.

File/Matter Reference

Do you have one or more unique identifiers for each agreement? Nomos One can track this for you through its File/Matter Reference field. This field provides an option to search for leases within Nomos One by their unique reference identifiers, so you can quickly find and navigate to the agreement in question. If you’ve got multiple identifiers for the same agreement, Nomos One will keep track of them all.
The File/Matter Reference field can be found when creating a new agreement or repairing an existing one, just below the file display name.
